The secret to achieving your dreams… keep going!

Keep going

Keep going

Hi friends!

I almost feel like I should write ‘long-lost friends’ as I have sorely neglected this blog!   The irony is that this blog is about pursuing your dreams.  Some dreams are easily attained, while others require hard work, sacrifice and persistence.  My life has been full in the pursuit of some of my dreams, and yet I realised that I have completely slacked in the area of persistence when it comes to this blog.    And today, that changes.  I publicly promise to post at least once a week.

I love to write and I love to write good articles.  The problem of late has been time.  My life is very full and very busy.  I came across a quote recently that said “Now that you can stop being perfect, you can start being good”  Being good is better than doing nothing because it is less than perfect.  Besides, what is perfect anyway?

Some articles may be well researched and written, while other posts may be raw from my heart.  But I promise to persist.   I’d like to share a cartoon that I saw recently.  It was actually this cartoon that prompted me to continue with what I have started with Dream and Pursue.

I hope it encourages you to persist in the pursuit of your own goals and dreams!

    • Thanks! I loved the message in that cartoon. Perseverance is key! I love your blog – and how you categorise by theme rather than date – it makes it easy to read around the topics that interest various readers. It’s great!

  2. I love your wise words about perfectionism. I always face the same problem because I want everything to be perfect. And pursuing perfectionism is a straight way to frustration. And the cartoon is great! 😉
