Happy New Year!

It’s hard to believe it’s 2016!  I’ve always loved the idea of a fresh start, and in reality, every moment holds the opportunity for a new beginning.  But there is something about the blank slate of a New Year.

Who do you want to be?  Who are you?  And how does that person align with the person you want to be?  What interests do you have – have you pursued them?  What do you want to accomplish in life?  What’s holding you back?

know what you want

The irony about goals and dreams is that they evolve. Maybe this isn’t true for everybody, but it’s true for me.  Life is fluid and the most important thing is to move forward, in the direction of your passions and goals – those goals may change.  There’s a quote that says, ‘Go as far as you can see.  When you get there, you’ll see further’

It’s true.  The secret is in starting.  Discover, explore, live fully and keep going!

One of my own personal aspirations for 2016 is to write more.  Some of my writing goals are outside of this blog, but to start the year off I have decided to write – and post – every day for one month.  I have a lot of things going on in my life, and I can use that as an excuse for not writing often lately – but no excuses!

You can be or do anything you set your mind to!  Here’s to 2016 being the year when we do.  May all your goals be reached, your heart full of happiness, your life full of love as you follow hard in the direction of your dreams!

Almost anything. I don’t think you can perform a spacewalk without a spacesuit. It is my understanding the results are not pretty.
